1. CONTRACTUAL FRAMEWORK 
Souk Watani (the "Platform") acts as a digital intermediary connecting independent third-party sellers ("Vendors") with buyers. When you place an order, the contract of sale is exclusively between you and the Vendor. Souk Watani is not a party to this contract but facilitates the payment and provides the marketplace infrastructure under the Laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

2. PRICING, TAXES, AND PAYMENTS

• Currency: All transactions are conducted in Omani Rials (OMR).

• VAT: A 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) is applicable on taxable goods in accordance with the Oman Tax Authority regulations and will be displayed at checkout.

• Payment Security: Payments are processed through authorized, secure gateways. Funds are held in escrow and released to Vendors only after successful order fulfillment.

3. SHIPPING AND CROSS-BORDER TRADE

• Fulfillment: Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of stock and timely dispatch. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

• Return Shipping Responsibility: In the event of a return due to a defective product, incorrect item, or non-conformity with the description, the Vendor is solely responsible for all associated return shipping charges and logistics fees. * International Orders: For orders shipped outside of Oman, the Buyer is responsible for all customs clearances, import duties, and local taxes. Souk Watani is not liable for delays caused by international customs authorities.

4. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

• Same-Day Cancellations: Direct reversals to the original payment method are only technically possible if the request is made and processed on the same calendar day as the transaction.

• Standard Refunds: For all other approved returns or cancellations, refunds are issued exclusively as Souk Watani Credit Vouchers. These vouchers are credited to the user's account for future purchases on the platform and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Return Costs: As per the Oman Consumer Protection Law, the cost of returning a non-conforming or defective item shall not be borne by the Buyer. The Vendor must provide a pre-paid return solution or reimburse the return costs via the Platform's credit system.

5. VENDOR REPRESENTATIONS 
Vendors warrant that they hold a valid Commercial Registration (CR) in Oman (or their respective jurisdiction) and that all products are genuine, comply with Omani standards, and do not violate any intellectual property rights.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 
To the maximum extent permitted by the Omani Civil Transactions Law, Souk Watani shall not be liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by Vendors, nor for any indirect damages resulting from the use of the Platform.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW 
Any dispute related to these Terms or a transaction on the Platform shall be governed by the Laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
